Mr Jagdip S Kalsi

Jag is a Consultant in Restorative Dentistry and enjoys all aspects of Prosthodontics, Endodontics, Periodontics and Implant Dentistry. At Ashley Dental Centre he provides comprehensive specialist treatments for oral rehabilitation. He also works at Croydon University and King’s College Hospitals and is Specialist level examiner in all three restorative monospecialties for one of the Royal Colleges.

In addition to multi-disciplinary cases, Jag enjoys implant and peri-implant dentistry, surgical periodontics and endodontics, and full mouth reconstruction work. He is actively involved in teaching general dental practitioners, postgraduate students, and junior and senior specialty trainees. He has published extensively on many subjects including tooth surface loss management, restorative dentistry, periodontics, post cancer dental management.

Following graduation as a dentist from King’s, his vocational dental practice experience was fulfilling, and he won the project prize. Subsequently he worked as a Senior House Officer at Guy’s, King’s College, Bristol Dental, Southampton General and Eastman Dental Hospitals, whilst also working in practice and post-cancer dental management.

Jag completed his postgraduate and specialty training at the Eastman Dental Hospital and won the 3M prize for best postgraduate trainee on the Masters in Conservative Dentistry at the Eastman. He was also the first London based Specialty Registrar to sit a specialist monospecialty Royal College membership exam whilst a Registrar. He has represented the Senior Registrars in Restorative Dentistry Group, and presented posters at national and international conferences.

Jag went to school locally at Carlisle Infants, Hampton Hill Juniors and Hampton School, has three young children and enjoys thinking about the times when he used to have time for hobbies, such as football and fine dining.

Multiple source feedback over the years has regularly described Jag as friendly, patient centred and kind. As a trainer and examiner he demands the highest standards from dentists.

Mrs Harpreet K Kalsi

Harpreet has been a part of the Ashley Dental Centre team since 2018. She is a well-qualified general and cosmetic dentist with years of experience and has been trained by some of the best dental specialists in the country.

After qualifying from King’s College University in London in 2008, she went on to do her vocational training year in London. She then went on to complete several Senior House Officer jobs at Guy’s, Royal London, and Queen’s Hospitals in various specialties including Paediatric Dentistry, Oral Medicine, Oral Surgery, Restorative Dentistry and Maxillofacial Surgery. Harpreet then completed a Masters in Conservative Dentistry at the prestigious Eastman Dental Hospital in 2014.

Harpreet has experience in various specialities of dentistry. She provides high quality cosmetic work including Invisalign and Composite Bonding, as well as complex restorative cases including tooth wear. She is also qualified to provide Facial Aesthetic treatments such as anti-wrinkle treatments and dermal fillers.

Harpreet is very experienced in treating nervous patients and always likes to treat her patients like family members. She prides herself in ensuring all her patients are provided with the highest standard of care in a relaxed and professional environment.

Outside of work, she is a busy mum with three children and enjoys spending her spare time sewing and enjoying long walks.

Our Dental Nurses

Janet Palmer

Senior Dental Nurse

Janet is our Lead Senior Dental nurse and has been at Ashley Dental Centre since the start. Her role is managing the nursing staff at the practice as well as assisting in the surgeries. She has attended various dental nursing courses in implantology, microsurgery and root canal therapy. Tap dancing, going to the gym and spending time with the grandchildren are among her leisure activities.

Jacqui Frye

Dental Nurse

Jacqui Frye, since qualifying as a Dental Care Professional in 2008, has worked as a Dental Assistant in NHS and Private Practices. In 2014 she trained as an Oral Health Educator.
Jacqui was encouraged by one of her past employers to write Oral Health Goals for children in the local pre-school nurseries, which gave her more time with patients who needed additional oral health guidance. She joined the Ashley Dental Centre in 2017. Jacqui is a keen singer and is a member of a local choir. Her other hobbies include writing poetry and walking.

Janine Ford

Hygienist

Janine qualified as a hygienist from the Eastman Dental Hospital and Institute in 1993 and has worked at Ashley Dental Centre since 1995. She lives locally and is married with three children. Her hobbies are archaeology and socialising.

Administration Staff

Ruth Maloney

Receptionist
Ruth has been part of the ADC team for almost nine years. Starting as a part-time receptionist, she is the most experienced member of the reception and administrative team. When she is not working at Ashley Dental Centre, she enjoys an active lifestyle and spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren.
